Single account holder to a joint account

Unfortunately, you cannot directly convert your existing InvestSMART PMA account into a joint account by adding another person (e.g., partner, spouse). Instead, you must follow these steps to open a new joint account and, if desired, close your existing individual account.

To open a new joint PMA account, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit one of the portfolio product pages and click 'Invest Now.'

  2. Select the desired portfolio type(s).

  3. Choose your investment amount.

  4. (Optional) To close your existing individual PMA account, submit a full withdrawal request online.

  5. Fund your new joint PMA account.
